I’d already spent years working as an NHS nurse. I was used to supporting people through stressful moments, staying calm under pressure, and reading subtle changes in behaviour. So when I started working with my dogs, that same mindset kicked in. I didn’t just want to “train” them — I wanted to understand them.

At Haigh Hounds, we take a behaviour-based approach to dog training. Rather than simply teaching obedience, we focus on understanding why your dog behaves the way they do.
